Day 1: Transfer Airport/hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel. City tour: Historical Quito + Middle of the World

We will visit the historic center, the largest and best preserved in South America, in one of our original trolleys, which are a replica of the trams that circulated in Quito throughout the last century.

We then visit the Church of the Basilica of the National Vow, where we will make a brief stop to explain its facade, later moving to the Mirador del Panecillo, an iconic place in the city. There, we see the giant statue of the Alada Virgin, from where you can admire a beautiful landscape of colonial and modern Quito. Later, we continue on to the Plaza de San Francisco, one of the most representative places in the city, full of history. From there, we walk to the Plaza Grande, the historic and political center of the city, surrounded by innumerable attractions including the Archbishop’s Palace, the Church of La Compañía, the Cathedral, and the Government Palace.

We continue our journey through the traditional La Ronda neighborhood. Here, in this romantic setting, we find workshops where our visitors will learn with a group of authentic craftsmen how their works are made and about the trades of yesteryear that keep the cultural traditions of this charming city alive. (Entrances to churches are not included).

We then make a stop in the city’s pink zone, where we have an hour and a half of free time for lunch (not included), and later we continue our excursion to the Middle of the World.

We arrive at the Middle City of the World, where we see the monument that divides the northern hemisphere and southern hemispheres of the planet. This monument was built in the eighteenth century in the spot where the French scientific expedition defined the exact position of the line in Ecuador that divides the world – a must-see for those who visit Quito. This visit includes entrance to the Middle of the World complex where you can enjoy unique experiences that defy the laws of physics and occur only in this part of the world. After visiting this amazing place and registering it in your passport, you will always remember Ecuador and the Middle of the World in a different way.

Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer hotel/airport in Quito, to take the flight (not included) to Galapagos.

Reception at the Baltra airport and transfer by public buses to the dock of the Itabaca channel, to cross by public service ferry to Santa Cruz Island, where transport will be waiting to transfer you to Puerto Ayora, an area where the hotels of this island are located. On the way, you will have the exciting chance to see the lava tunnels and a giant turtle reserve. Visit the Charles Darwin Scientific Station, where you can learn more about the Galapagos Islands, the species that inhabit them, their training and evolution, and conservation programs. You can also observe some giant tortoises in captivity. (Transfer operates daily at 1 p.m.). Accommodation.

Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. Explore the Galapagos.

In the morning (8 a.m.), we take an excursion to Playa Tortuga Bay. At the end of a walk of approximately 40 minutes, we will arrive at this beach, one of the most beautiful in the Galapagos, with white sand and green mangroves. Here at Playa Mansa, we swim and enjoy a morning at the beach followed by free time to have lunch. In the afternoon (2 p.m.), we take a yacht tour of the bay to visit La Lobería, named after the sea lions that are located there (free time for snorkeling). Continuing with the tour, we go to the Canal del Amor, a place where nature asks us to admire its beauty. At the end of this channel, a few meters away, we find a spot where we can see white-tip sharks. After a short walk, we observe marine iguanas at the Playa de los Perros. We also visit Punta Estrada. Return to the dock. Accommodation.
The tour of this day is only Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
