Take a ride on railroad and visit the largest Inca archeological complex in Ecuador. This is a thrilling adventure you’re sure to remember!
We go to the railroad station in Alausi, located 160 kilometers north of the city of Cuenca. Along the way, we see unforgettable Andean landscapes, and then arrive in San Pedro de Alausi. Here we begin the 90-minute train ride, including the dramatic decline through the famous Devil’s Nose mountain, recognized as one of the world’s greatest engineering achievements of the 20th century, and the ride is picturesque and exciting.
After getting off the train, we continue the trip with a visit the most important archeological site in Ecuador, the Inca Ruins of Ingapirca. We return to Cuenca in the evening.
